About
Our Eleaf range is the iStick TC 40W Mod, priced at $54.99 in Blue, Brushed Silver, Grey or Full Black. A mod is the battery and power section of a refillable setup, so the first thing to settle is whether it suits the tank and coils you use or plan to buy. Colour only matters after that.
What the iStick TC 40W name tells you
iStick is a series name Eleaf uses for many of its box mods. Eleaf's own mod listing includes the iStick TC40W Box Mod along with several other iStick models. A box mod is a rectangular battery and control unit that powers a separate tank.
The rest of the name, TC and 40W, refers to how the mod operates and what power it puts out. The name alone doesn't tell you which operating modes this model offers, its full output range, or which coil types each mode accepts. Eleaf's manual for this model covers those points. Read it before you set the mod up, and only use a mode with a coil the manual lists as supported for that mode.
Parts you add to make the mod work
The iStick TC 40W Mod powers a refillable setup. It isn't a complete vape on its own. To use it, you also need:
- A tank or atomizer, which holds the e-liquid and contains the coil.
- Coils that suit that tank.
- Bottled e-liquid to fill the tank.
That list describes how mod-based setups work in general. It isn't a list of what comes in the box.
Check a tank in this order. First, confirm that its connection matches the mod. Next, compare the coil resistance (measured in ohms) with what Eleaf's manual specifies for this mod. Finally, check the manual for any coil-wire requirements that apply to the operating mode you plan to use.
Our vape hardware range shows the other refillable equipment we carry. Compare each item's specifications with the Eleaf manual before you pair it with this mod.
For the liquid, our flavour profile pages group products by type: tobacco, menthol, fruit and flavourless. Before you pair an item from those pages with a mod, check that it's bottled e-liquid and not a sealed, prefilled device.
Choosing a finish: four colours at one price
We list the iStick TC 40W Mod in Blue, Brushed Silver, Grey and Full Black, all at the same price. The colours are options on the same product in our listing, so the only difference is how it looks.
