Strength and price are the same on every bottle, so the first question is whether your hardware suits a low-strength freebase liquid. Flavour comes second. Flavour Beast built this line for direct-to-lung vaping on sub-ohm tanks and higher-wattage devices, and for higher-resistance pods it recommends nicotine salt instead.

What 3 mg/mL freebase is made for

Freebase is nicotine in its standard, non-salt form. In this line it comes in one strength, 3 mg/mL, and one format: bottled vape juice for refillable devices.

Flavour Beast says the line is optimized for sub-ohm tanks and high-powered mods and made for direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping. DTL means drawing vapour straight into the lungs instead of holding it in the mouth first. The manufacturer lists the bottle as 60 mL.

The low strength and the high-wattage hardware are designed to go together. According to Flavour Beast, freebase at a lower nicotine strength, used at higher wattage, produces more vapour with a lower throat hit. That's why the manufacturer ties this line to specific hardware.

Matching freebase to your tank, mod or pod

Sub-ohm means a coil resistance below 1 ohm. Flavour Beast pairs this freebase line with sub-ohm tanks and high-powered mods, and recommends it for pods only when they meet tighter limits.

Pod systems

Pod systems can run Flavour Beast freebase, but the manufacturer recommends it for a narrower range of pods. Per Flavour Beast, freebase works best in lower-resistance pods of 0.4 to 0.6 ohm, on devices that run at about 45 to 55W or more and support restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping. RDL is a slightly tighter draw than full DTL. For higher-resistance pods of 0.9 to 1.2 ohm, Flavour Beast recommends nicotine salt instead. What to check first

Two numbers decide whether this line suits your device: coil resistance and wattage. Compare yours with the figures above, which are a coil below 1 ohm for a tank, or a 0.4 to 0.6 ohm pod on a device that reaches about 45 to 55W. Sorting the flavours: fruit, iced fruit and mint

Most of the range is in the Fruit profile, and the rest falls under Refreshments and Menthol. The profile filters beside the grid sort the list by profile.

The fruit flavours without ice are green apple, watermelon, mango paired with peach, peach paired with berry, and a mixed fruit blend. You can compare these with other fruit e-liquids in our store. Flavour Beast describes its freebase line as taking flavour profiles from its nicotine salt and disposable lines and putting them in a high-wattage, DTL format. The format differs from line to line (a refill bottle for an open tank, a pod or a self-contained disposable), and the salt bottles use nicotine salt instead of freebase. If you know a profile from another Flavour Beast format, look for that flavour in each line's grid instead of assuming it carries over.
