About
Gold Seal nic salt is a bottled 30 mL salt nicotine e-liquid. Every bottle we list is $26.99 and comes in 10 mg/mL or 20 mg/mL. That leaves two choices: the strength, and one of three profiles. Naked is flavourless, Fresh Tobacco is tobacco and You Make Me Menthol is menthol. The other Gold Seal liquids we carry are on the Gold Seal brand page.
Gold Seal Salt and the other Gold Seal listings
Gold Seal Salt is Gold Seal's salt nicotine line, and every listing is a 30 mL bottle. Salt nicotine is nicotine in salt form. The federal nicotine limit applies to salt and non-salt nicotine alike, so the form of nicotine does not change the maximum strength.
We list the other Gold Seal products we carry on our Gold Seal brand page. They all carry the Gold Seal name, so check the listing title and strength options before you add a bottle to your cart. A salt bottle's listing title ends in "30ml Salt", and its strength options read 10 mg or 20 mg.
To compare Gold Seal Salt with the other salt nicotine bottles we carry, browse the Salt Nic category, which groups them in one place.
Reading 10 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL on the label
The strength figure on a Gold Seal Salt bottle means milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of liquid.
A strength of 20 mg/mL is the same concentration as 2%. Health Canada states that federal regulations set 20 mg/mL as the maximum nicotine concentration for vaping products manufactured or imported for sale in Canada. A strength of 10 mg/mL is half of that maximum, or 1%.
According to the Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations, the federal limit covers nicotine in both salt and non-salt forms. A Gold Seal Salt bottle labelled 20 mg/mL is therefore at the same ceiling as any other compliant e-liquid, whatever form of nicotine it uses.
If you already use a salt e-liquid, find the strength on its label and match it to one of these two options. Some labels show a percentage instead of mg/mL. On those labels, 2% equals 20 mg/mL and 1% equals 10 mg/mL.
Three profiles: flavourless, tobacco and menthol
We file each Gold Seal Salt listing under its flavour profile:
- Naked is filed under our flavourless e-liquids.
- Fresh Tobacco is filed under our tobacco flavours.
- You Make Me Menthol is filed under our menthol flavours.
Each profile comes in both 10 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL, so you can switch profiles without changing strength. The name Naked is easy to misread. It means the liquid has no flavouring, but it still contains nicotine at either strength.
