About
A worn coil, a cracked glass or a damaged tank on Innokin hardware is a parts-matching job. The family name and resistance marked on the part you're replacing tell you which listing to choose. Our Innokin range is a small set of hardware listings priced from $4.99 to $34.99: Zenith coils, the Zenith Plexus coil, Podin coils, the Zenith II replacement glass and the Zenith II Tank.
Match the coil family to your tank or device first
Each coil listing carries a hardware family name, so check that name first. Our coil listings are Innokin Zenith Coils (5 pack), the Innokin Zenith Plexus Replacement Coil and Innokin Podin Coils (5 pack). The Zenith coils and the Zenith Plexus coil are named for Zenith tanks, while the Podin coils are named for Podin hardware.
Before you order, check the family name and resistance marked on the coil you're taking out, then pick the listing with the same family name. Matching the name keeps you from ordering a coil named for different hardware.
Health Canada's overview of how vaping devices work describes the atomizer as the heating element (the coil) plus the wick, and the tank as the chamber that holds the liquid. On these tanks the coil is sold as a separate replacement part, and the Zenith and Podin coil listings come in packs of five.
Reading the Zenith coil resistance options
The Innokin Zenith Coils (5 pack) listing offers MTL 0.8 ohm, MTL 1.0 ohm, 1.2, 1.6 ohm, 0.3 and Plex3D 0.48 ohm. The ohm figure is the coil's electrical resistance. Coils at different resistances are listed for different power ranges, as the Plexus options below show, so your device has to support the wattage range of the coil you pick.
What the MTL label means
Mouth to Lung (MTL) is one of the draw styles Innokin names for its hardware. As the name suggests, you draw the vapour into your mouth first and then inhale it. The 0.8 ohm and 1.0 ohm options carry the MTL label. The other options have no draw-style label on the listing, so check Innokin's information for those before choosing one for a particular draw style.
Plexus wattage ranges
The Innokin Zenith Plexus Replacement Coil gives a wattage range in each option name: 0.5 ohm (14–19W) and 1.6 ohm (10–14). The lower-resistance option has the higher range. The Zenith 5-pack option names don't include a wattage range, so check Innokin's rating for the coil you choose.
If you're replacing like for like, reorder the resistance you already use. If you switch to a different resistance, you may also need to change your device's power setting.
Zenith II Tank or just the replacement glass
If only the glass is cracked or chipped, the Innokin Zenith II Replacement Glass lets you keep the rest of your tank. It is named for the Zenith II, so confirm your tank model first.
The complete Innokin Zenith II Tank (CRC) is the better fit when you're adding a tank to a compatible device, or when the damage goes beyond the glass. It comes in Black, Gun metal and Steel.
What the Zenith II Tank works with
As a refillable tank, the Zenith II is what Health Canada calls an open system: a device you fill by hand, adding vaping liquid to a tank or pod. To use it, you need a compatible device to power it, a coil from the Zenith family and vaping liquid. Devices are in our broader vape hardware range. Refill liquids are grouped by flavour profile, including tobacco flavours, menthol flavours, fruit flavours and flavourless options.
