Choosing Joyetech gear comes down to the job: buying a device, refilling one or adding a way to charge it. Our Joyetech range in Canada is hardware only, priced from $6.99 to $26.99 with federal excise tax included. It includes the refillable eGo Updated Version Pod Kit in four colours, a five-pack of WideWick Black Mesh 1.2 ohm pods and a 1A wall adapter.
A device, a pod refill and a charger: matching the item to the job
The eGo Updated Version Pod Kit (2 mL) is the device in this range. It comes in Black, Rose Gold, Blue and Silver. None of the Joyetech items here has a flavour or nicotine strength to choose, so you're choosing hardware.
The WideWick Black Mesh Pods are replacement pods, not a device. They come five to a pack and are labelled 1.2 ohm and 2 mL. The Joyetech 1A Wall Adapter is a charging accessory. The "1A" in its product name is its current rating.

What Joyetech states about the eGo Pod
Joyetech describes the eGo Pod as draw-activated, with no button clicks and no adjustment. It is designed for a mouth-to-lung draw, where vapour is drawn into the mouth first and then inhaled. The listed specifications are a 1000mAh battery, a height of 98 mm, a stainless steel body and the Avatar IC 1.0 chip, which Joyetech says combines input and output in one circuit. On its own store, Joyetech lists the eGo Pod Kit Update Version at 1000mAh and 2 ml.
These specifications come from Joyetech's page for the eGo Pod, not from a page for the Update Version, so check our product page for the details of the kit we list. Because the device has no settings, there's nothing to set up before you use it. The tradeoff is that you can't adjust the power if you want the device to behave differently.
Filling the eGo Pod: bottled e-liquid and the 20 mg/mL limit
The eGo Pod uses a refillable 2 mL cartridge that you fill with bottled e-liquid. Joyetech says the device works with freebase nicotine or nicotine salt, and states that the filling system is child-resistant and certified to ISO 8317.
In Canada, the Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations (SOR/2021-123) set a maximum nicotine concentration of 20 mg/mL for vaping products manufactured or imported for sale. Reading the WideWick Black Mesh pod label
The label gives you three facts. 1.2 ohm is the coil's electrical resistance, 2 mL is how much e-liquid each pod holds, and the pack contains five pods.
Joyetech's own store lists the WideWick Pod Kit as a separate kit from the eGo Pod, so WideWick is its own series. Before you order these pods for any device, including the eGo kit in this range, check the compatibility details on the pods' product page.
