Kraze HD Mega 20K

Every Kraze HD Mega 20K we carry is the same rechargeable disposable at $31.99 with 20 mg/mL nicotine, in 15+ flavours. Price and strength don't change from one listing to the next, so flavour is the only thing you're choosing. Kraze rates the device for up to 20,000 puffs from a 20 mL pre-filled tank. It also has two power modes, an airflow slider and a status screen, and it helps to understand them before you pick a flavour.

A rechargeable disposable: tank, battery and coil

The Kraze HD Mega 20K is a closed, pre-filled device. Kraze fills each unit with 20 mL of e-liquid and describes it as needing no refills and no coil changes. Health Canada uses the term "disposables" for closed devices that are thrown away once they run out of vaping liquid or charge (Health Canada, About vaping).

The HD Mega is a rechargeable disposable. Kraze rates the built-in battery at 800 mAh and says it recharges through USB Type-C, so you can use the device until the last of its e-liquid.

Inside, Kraze lists a dual mesh coil. The coil is the heating element that heats the e-liquid to produce aerosol. Kraze gives the box-style body as roughly 95.8 x 51.8 mm. You can compare that format with other devices in our disposable vapes range.

Normal and Boost modes, and the airflow slider

The HD Mega has two power settings. Kraze rates Normal mode at 12W and Boost mode at 24W, so by those ratings Boost sends twice as much power to the coil. An icon on the screen shows which mode is active, so you can check the setting without guessing.

The airflow slider is a separate control. Kraze says it fine-tunes draw resistance, meaning how tight or open each draw feels. Because it works independently of the power mode, either mode can be used with a tighter or a more open draw. If a draw feels different from what you expect, check both the mode icon and the slider position, since either one may have been changed.

Reading the 1.77-inch screen

Kraze fits the HD Mega with a 1.77-inch OLED screen. According to Kraze, it shows the e-liquid level and the battery level in real time, along with the power-mode icon.

The two levels tell you different things. A low battery reading means it's time to recharge over USB Type-C. A low e-liquid reading means the device is near its end, and recharging won't add liquid. The e-liquid reading is the one to watch if you want a replacement ready.

One strength across the line: 20 mg/mL nicotine salt

We list the Kraze HD Mega only at 20 mg/mL, and Kraze states that every flavour in the line uses that strength. If a listing doesn't show a strength selector, that isn't a sign of another option. It is still 20 mg/mL, because the line comes in no other strength.

Since July 2021, federal regulations have set 20 mg/mL as the maximum nicotine concentration for vaping products sold in Canada, under the Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations (SOR/2021-123). So 20 mg/mL is the legal ceiling, not a special high-strength version.

Kraze states that the HD Mega's e-liquid uses nicotine salt. Health Canada defines nicotine salts as nicotine dissolved in a liquid mixture that is chemically adjusted to be weakly acidic (Health Canada, About vaping).

Iced fruit, two mints and one blend without ice

The Kraze HD Mega flavours we carry are mostly iced fruit. In our catalogue, fruit is the most common flavour profile, followed by iced and then menthol. Nearly every listing name ends in "Ice".

The single fruits are banana, lychee, strawberry, grape, watermelon and cantaloupe. The two-fruit pairings are strawberry with kiwi, blueberry with kiwi, and peach with watermelon. Our listings also include berry, cherry, apple, peach and lemon flavours.

Kraze describes Fresh Mint Ice as a menthol mint with a spearmint note on the inhale, and Holiday Mint Ice as a peppermint flavour. Night Rider is the only listing without "Ice" in its name. Kraze describes it as strawberry, raspberry and watermelon with no menthol.

To narrow the grid, use the iced flavours filter, the fruit flavours filter or the menthol flavours filter. We also carry other Kraze lines: the KRAZE Mega X, the Kraze Luna 42K and the Kraze Giga.
