Lemon Drop Salt

Lemon Drop Salt is a line of 10+ nicotine salt e-liquids. Every one is a 30 mL bottle at $26.99, offered in 12 and 20 mg/mL. Size and price are the same for every flavour, so you mainly choose two things: strength, and iced fruit or fruit without ice. These are refill liquids for a device you fill yourself, not disposables. Larger bottles are on our Lemon Drop 60ml Salt page.

One bottle size and price, two strengths

Bottle size and price are the same across the line, so neither one helps you pick a flavour. The two choices that matter are nicotine strength and flavour.

Every flavour in the line comes in both 12 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL. The figure is milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of liquid, so a 20 mg/mL bottle holds more nicotine in each millilitre than a 12 mg/mL bottle.

If you already use a salt e-liquid, check the concentration printed on your current bottle first. Match that number. The flavour name tells you nothing about nicotine content.

Fruit is the most common flavour profile tag in this line, followed by Refreshments. The filters beside the grid narrow the range. To compare across the store, see our fruit flavour range and Refreshments flavour range. Bigger bottles and the Boost versions have their own pages: Lemon Drop 60ml Salt, Lemon Drop Boost 30ml Salt and Lemon Drop Boost 60ml Salt.

The Bold 50 option on some flavours

Some Lemon Drop Salt flavours show a third option, Bold 50, next to 12mg and 20mg. Wild Berry is one of them. Green Apple Ice, Double Lemon, Lemon Lime, White Grape, Strawberry Ice, Grape Ice and Blueberry Ice show only 12mg and 20mg.

Our catalogue lists 12 and 20 mg/mL as the only nicotine strengths for this line. The federal Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations set a maximum of 20 mg/mL. They also prohibit packaging and selling vaping products when the concentration displayed on the package exceeds 20 mg/mL (Health Canada, vaping products regulations).

So treat Bold 50 as the name of an option, not a nicotine concentration. Before you add it to your cart, confirm the nicotine concentration on the product page so you know which strength you're ordering.

What "salt" means on a Lemon Drop Salt bottle

Health Canada describes nicotine salts as nicotine dissolved in a liquid mixture that is chemically adjusted to be weakly acidic (Health Canada, About vaping). The other common form is freebase nicotine, which Health Canada describes as nicotine dissolved in a liquid mixture, typically propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerin.

Like freebase liquids, salt liquids contain propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerin (the liquids the nicotine is dissolved in) and other chemicals, such as flavouring ingredients. Health Canada notes that both forms can be used in refill liquids or in cartridges for closed systems. Every bottle on this page is the salt form.

A 30 mL bottle needs an open device that you fill by hand. The FAQ below explains how that differs from a closed device, so check your device type before you order. To compare other salt lines, browse our Salt Nic category. The related line page is Lemon Drop.

Iced fruit and fruit without ice

Lemon Drop Salt fruit listings come either iced or without ice, and the listing name shows which one you're looking at.

Iced fruit

Green apple, strawberry, grape and blueberry come iced, and each of those listings has "Ice" in its name. Our iced flavour range collects iced options from other lines as well.

Fruit without ice

Wild berry and white grape come without ice, and so do two citrus listings, double lemon and lemon lime.

Of the fruits named above, grape is the only one sold both ways: White Grape without ice and Grape Ice with it. Read the full listing name before you add a grape bottle to your cart. If a listing's name doesn't name a fruit, open the product page or use the flavour filters beside the grid to see where it sits.
