Every Flavour Beast M40 pod in our 20+ listing range costs $32.99 and carries the same series name, so neither price nor format will separate one option from another. Your choice comes down to two checks: which device the pod attaches to, and which flavour profile you want (iced or not, mint or fruit, and which fruit).

Matching the pod to your device

The Level X Flavour Beast M40 line is a set of pods listed in our Vape Pods category. Every product name follows one pattern: "M40 160K Pod" followed by a flavour. Our store lists the M40, M30 and G2 pods as separate lines, so don't assume a pod from one line fits a device from another.

Charging is the other device-side check. Health Canada advises reading the manufacturer's instructions for storing and recharging your vaping device, not exceeding the recommended charging time, and not modifying the device. It also suggests choosing devices certified to a safety standard such as ANSI/CAN/UL 8139 to reduce the risk of fire or explosion, and keeping spare lithium-ion batteries in a protective case, away from loose coins, keys or other metal objects.

Iced fruit and mint M40 pods

The word "Iced" at the end of a product name is the quickest way to sort the M40 range. Most M40 listings carry that suffix, which signals a cooling note added to the main flavour. The mint pods in the line, Polar Mint Iced and Extreme Mint Iced, both carry it.

By fruit, the iced pods include:

Fruit pods without ice

A smaller set of M40 pods names a fruit with no "Iced" suffix: a three-berry blend, peach with berry, green apple, and mango with peach. If you want the fruit without the cooling note, start with this set. The fruit flavours filter shows similar options in other lines.

Peach, mango and grape across the line

Peach, mango and grape each appear in more than one M40 listing, so if you already favour one of them you have versions to compare. Peach comes on its own with ice, paired with berry, and paired with mango. Mango comes with raspberry (iced) and with peach (no ice). Both grape versions are iced: white grape, and grape with passionfruit. Once you've picked a fruit, your remaining choices are whether you want ice and which second fruit you want with it.

Packaging and safe storage

Federal rules set what a legal vaping product package must display. According to Health Canada's vaping product safety guidance, labels must show, in English and in French, the list of ingredients, including flavours. If the product contains nicotine, the label must also show:

• a nicotine concentration statement in mg/mL
• toxicity information, including a hazard symbol and a first aid treatment statement
• a health warning message on nicotine

Any legal vaping product with a nicotine concentration of 0.1 mg/mL or more must be enclosed in child-proof packaging, and the packaging carries a vaping excise stamp over the seal. You can check for that stamp when a package arrives.

Health Canada states that vaping liquid containing nicotine is poisonous, and that young children are more susceptible to harm from nicotine. It advises storing vaping liquid out of sight and reach of children and pets, in a cool, dry place where it cannot be confused for food, drinks or medicine. If someone has swallowed vaping liquid, seek emergency medical attention, call 9-1-1, or call a Poison Control Centre at 1-844-POISON-X (1-844-764-7669).
