L!X Salt

L!X Salt is a bottled salt nic e-liquid, not a device. We carry it in 10 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL, mostly in 30 ml bottles, and Mint Condition also comes in 60 ml. Most of the flavours are fruit, and there are two mint flavours. You have three things to choose: strength, bottle size and flavour. Prices in the line run from $26.99 to $41.99.

A refill liquid for devices you fill yourself

L!X Salt is a bottled refill liquid, so it goes into a device you fill by hand. Health Canada's About vaping page describes an open device as one you fill manually by adding vaping liquid to a tank or a pod. Health Canada describes two kinds of closed device. One holds a pre-filled cartridge or pod that you throw away when it runs out. The other is thrown away whole once its liquid or charge runs out. Neither kind is filled from a bottle, so L!X Salt is meant for an open, refillable device.

Health Canada defines nicotine salts as nicotine dissolved in a liquid mixture that is chemically adjusted to be weakly acidic. Before you pick a strength, check your device maker's guidance to confirm that your tank or pod is meant for salt nicotine liquid. 10 mg/mL or 20 mg/mL: what the two strengths mean

Every listing in the line uses nicotine salt, and most offer two strengths: 10 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL. According to Health Canada, the Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations set a maximum of 20 mg/mL for vaping products made or imported for sale in Canada. That makes 20 mg/mL the highest strength any bottle in our store can carry.

The Canada Gazette publication of these regulations treats 20 mg/mL and 2% as the same figure, so 10 mg/mL works out to 1%. The Gazette also states that the limit applies to nicotine in any form, salt or non-salt. A salt liquid is held to the same 20 mg/mL maximum as any other.

Matching the strength you already use

If you already use a salt nicotine liquid, find the strength on its label and choose the matching L!X option. If the label gives a percentage, use the conversion above: 2% is 20 mg/mL and 1% is 10 mg/mL. Sweet Mint is the exception to the usual pair. Its options read "30ml" and "20mg / 30ml", so confirm the strength on the Sweet Mint product page before you order.

30 ml and 60 ml bottles in the line

Most L!X Salt listings are 30 ml bottles, including Strawberry, Grape, Berry Watermelon, Sweet Mint and the 30 ml Mint Condition. Mint Condition is the only flavour sold in both a 30 ml and a 60 ml listing, so it's the only flavour where you choose a bottle size. Pineapple Iced doesn't give a bottle size in its name, so check its product page for the volume.

Fruit listings: single fruits, a berry pairing and one iced option

Fruit makes up most of the L!X Salt line. Strawberry and Grape are single-fruit listings, and Berry Watermelon pairs berry with watermelon. Pineapple Iced is the only listing that adds ice to a fruit, and iced options from other lines are under our iced flavours. All four come in 10 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL.
