If your device runs on removable batteries that you charge outside it, we carry two Nitecore chargers for that: the Digi Charger D2 and the Digi Charger D4, priced from $32.99 to $41.99. Nitecore's own website leads with flashlights, headlamps and power banks rather than vaping devices. These products are battery chargers, so we list them in Hardware.
Nitecore makes power and lighting gear, not vape devices
Because these are chargers, flavour, nicotine strength and puff ratings don't apply to anything on this page. What matters is whether your device can use an external charger at all.
An external charger is only useful if your device takes removable cells, meaning batteries you take out and charge separately. A device with a built-in battery charges inside the device, so an external charger does nothing for it. Check which kind of device you have before you choose a model. If you need other equipment, browse the full Hardware category.
Choosing between the Digi Charger D2 and D4
The grid shows the price of each model. This line has no volume discount, so ordering both models costs the same as ordering each one separately.
Choose your model based on the batteries you own, not on price. Before you decide, confirm that the model supports two things about your cells: the cell size and the chemistry, meaning the battery type, such as lithium-ion.
If you can't confirm that a charger supports your cells' size and chemistry, don't use that charger with those cells. The batteries themselves matter as well. Health Canada advises buying lithium-ion batteries that the manufacturer recommends, from a trusted source, so check your cells against that advice before you pair them with any charger.
Health Canada's guidance on charging and carrying lithium-ion cells
Health Canada publishes battery tips for vaping devices on its Vaping product safety page. The ones that apply to charging and carrying cells, and to the devices you use them in, are:
- Read the manufacturer's instructions for storing and recharging your device.
- Do not exceed the recommended charging time.
- Buy lithium-ion batteries that the manufacturer recommends, from a trusted source.
- Keep spare lithium-ion batteries in a protective case.
- Don't carry spare cells in a pocket or anywhere they can touch loose coins, keys or other metal objects. Health Canada notes that lithium-ion batteries can overheat, catch fire or even explode when they touch metal objects, and that serious injuries have been reported.
- Don't use or charge vaping devices near oxygen sources, such as pressurized containers used for oxygen therapy.
- Don't modify your vaping device.
