About Oxford Salt.

Oxford Salt at Puff'Dis is one bottle: OXFORD - Salt Nix Lost Gold, 60 mL of salt nicotine e-liquid at $34.99 in 3, 6 or 9 mg/mL. Our filters list Lost Gold under Tobacco, and the price is the same at every strength. That leaves one real choice: which strength fits what you already use.

One bottle, one flavour profile, three strengths

Lost Gold is the only flavour in this line, so to compare flavours you have to look outside Oxford Salt. Our tobacco flavour e-liquids page lists other tobacco-profile liquids together, so you can see how Lost Gold compares before you settle on a strength.

The flavour, the 60 mL bottle and the price are the same at 3, 6 and 9 mg/mL, so cost never pushes you toward one strength.

Reading 3, 6 and 9 mg/mL on a 60 mL bottle

The mg/mL figure on an Oxford Salt label is a concentration, meaning the milligrams of nicotine in each millilitre of liquid. That figure is not the amount of nicotine in the whole bottle. To get the total, multiply the concentration by the 60 mL fill:

  • 3 mg/mL: 180 mg of nicotine in a full 60 mL bottle
  • 6 mg/mL: 360 mg of nicotine in a full 60 mL bottle
  • 9 mg/mL: 540 mg of nicotine in a full 60 mL bottle

Bottle size matters as much as the label number. Take a hypothetical 30 mL bottle at 10 mg/mL: it would hold 300 mg in total, which is less than a 60 mL bottle of Lost Gold at 6 mg/mL. A low concentration in a large bottle still adds up to a meaningful amount of nicotine, which is why storage matters.

All three Lost Gold strengths sit well below the federal limit. Health Canada's vaping products regulations set a maximum nicotine concentration of 20 mg/mL for vaping products manufactured or imported for sale in Canada.

If you already vape, start from the concentration you use now, and check your device maker's instructions for the liquids your device is designed to use. For other salt nicotine strengths or bottle sizes, browse our full range of salt nic e-liquids.

Storing and handling a 60 mL nicotine bottle

A 60 mL bottle of Oxford Salt needs careful storage, because Health Canada's vaping product safety guidance describes vaping liquid containing nicotine as poisonous and notes that young children are more susceptible to harm from nicotine. Health Canada's handling tips apply to every bottle:

  • Child-resistant does not mean child-proof, so close the cap securely after each use.
  • Store the bottle out of sight and reach of children and pets.
  • Keep the liquid in a cool, dry place where nobody can mistake it for food, drinks or medicine.
  • Wash your hands immediately after handling the liquid, or wear gloves.
  • Never mix household chemical products or additives into vaping liquid.

If someone swallows vaping liquid, seek emergency medical attention or call 9-1-1 or a Poison Control Centre at 1-844-POISON-X (1-844-764-7669).

Frequently Asked.

Is Oxford Salt nicotine salt or freebase?
Oxford Salt Lost Gold uses salt nicotine, not freebase. All three strengths we carry (3, 6 and 9 mg/mL) use salt nicotine and come in the same 60 mL bottle.
What flavour profile is Oxford Lost Gold?
Oxford Lost Gold is filed under the Tobacco flavour profile in our filters, and it is the only flavour in our Oxford Salt range. Our Tobacco flavours page groups it with other tobacco-profile e-liquids.
Do you carry Oxford Salt in a strength above 9 mg/mL?
We carry Oxford Salt at 3, 6 and 9 mg/mL, so 9 mg/mL is the highest strength in this line. Health Canada sets a maximum of 20 mg/mL for vaping products manufactured or imported for sale in Canada. If you want a different salt nicotine strength or bottle size, browse our Salt Nic category.
What should the label on a legal Canadian nicotine e-liquid bottle show?
According to Health Canada, the label must show, in English and French, a list of ingredients including flavours, a nicotine concentration statement in mg/mL, toxicity information with a hazard symbol and a first aid treatment statement, and a health warning about nicotine. Health Canada also says the container must have a child-resistant closure, and the packaging includes a vaping excise stamp over the seal.
Is there a discount if I buy more than one bottle?
Our Vape Juice volume discount gives you 10% off 2 to 3 items, 12% off 4 to 5 items and 15% off 6 or more items. The discount applies to regular-priced items only, and sale items are excluded. Our prices already include federal excise tax.
