How our Vaporesso range is organized

Our Vaporesso catalogue has two parts: devices and the consumables they use. Colour is the only option on kit listings, so the model name is the choice that matters. It decides which pods or coils you'll be reordering later.

• XROS pod kits: XROS Cube, SE, Pro, Pro 2, 3 Nano, 4 Nano, 5, 5 Mini, 5 Nano, 6 and 6 Mini.
• Eco Nano pod kits: Eco Nano 2 and Eco Nano Plus 10 mL.

Matching replacement pods to your kit

Every Vaporesso replacement pod listing names a device family. Match that name to your kit first.

Vaporesso says the XROS 4 Nano works with every pod in the XROS series. For other XROS models, check the product page or the manual instead of assuming the same is true. A shared name alone doesn't prove a pod will fit. For example, the Luxe Q2 SE kit and the Luxe Q & QS pods both use the Luxe Q name. The Eco Nano 2 kit's name, meanwhile, doesn't exactly match either of our Eco Nano pod listings. Confirm which pod your kit takes before you order.

GT, GTX and GTI coils

Our Vaporesso coils come in three separate families. GT packs hold 3 coils, with options including GT2, GT4 Meshed, GT8 and GT CCELL. GTX packs hold 5 coils from 0.15 to 1.2 ohm, in mesh and dual mesh versions. GTI mesh packs hold 5 coils at 0.15, 0.2, 0.4 or 0.5 ohm. Find the coil family named in your device's manual before you pick a resistance.

Resistance and airflow in pod and coil options

Resistance, measured in ohms (Ω), is the first figure in most pod and coil options. Our XROS replacement pods run from 0.4 to 1.2 ohm. Those are the same 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 ohm values Vaporesso lists on its XROS 4 and XROS 4 Nano spec sheets. Each of the GT, GTX and GTI coil families has a 0.15 ohm option.

Higher resistance, around 0.8 to 1.2 ohm, usually suits a tighter mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw, where vapour stays in your mouth before you inhale. Lower resistance suits a looser draw. That can be restricted direct-to-lung (RDL), where you inhale straight to the lungs with some airflow restriction, or fully open direct-to-lung (DTL). Lower-resistance coils usually run at higher wattage. Where an option gives a wattage range, follow it. For example, the 0.6 ohm GTX mesh coil lists 20 to 26 W in its option name.

Airflow and resistance work together. Vaporesso says the side airflow control on the XROS 4 Nano covers MTL to RDL. If your kit has adjustable airflow and the draw feels too tight or too loose, try changing the airflow before you switch pods. The Luxe XR empty pods come in separate DTL and MTL versions, so you pick the draw style when you buy.

Pod capacity and CRC versions

Most Vaporesso listings in our catalogue have CRC in the name, and pod capacity can differ between a device's CRC version and its other versions. For the XROS 4 Nano, Vaporesso lists a 3 ml pod for the global version and 2 ml for the TPD and CRC versions.

Our XROS replacement pod options each state their capacity. The 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 ohm Corex 3.0 pods are listed at 3 ml. The 1.0 and 1.2 ohm Corex 3.0 pods and the 1.2 ohm Corex 2.0 pod are listed at 2 ml. Vaporesso lists the original ECO Nano's pod capacity as 6 ml/2 ml, and our Eco Nano replacement pods are listed at 6 ml. Go by the ml figure in each option name, not a capacity quoted for a version sold in another market.

Reading a kit's ratings: the XROS 4 Nano

Vaporesso publishes a detailed spec sheet for the XROS 4 Nano. The battery is rated at 1350 mAh, with Type-C charging at 2 A. Vaporesso calls it the largest battery in the XROS family and says its battery data comes from its own lab testing. Vaporesso lists the size as 55.25 x 20.9 x 56.5 mm and the weight as 90 g. According to Vaporesso, the kit is the first XROS with a 1.3-inch colour TFT screen, and it fires either when you draw on it or when you press the button.

Vaporesso also says output depends on the pod you fit. With the 0.4 ohm pod, wattage adjusts in 0.5 W steps, while other XROS pods use three output levels.

You can read any other kit the same way. The pod family tells you which consumables to buy, the resistance values show which draw styles the pods cover, and the capacity shows how much a pod holds between refills.
