Most of the 10+ listings are fruit flavours, in two groups: iced single fruits and fruit without ice.

What Nasty rates the Bar 8.5K for

On its product page, Nasty describes the NASTY BAR DX8.5i as a rechargeable nicotine salt disposable. We list it as the Nasty Bar 8.5K. The 8,500 in that name is the same figure as Nasty's puff rating, and that figure is what links the names 8500, 8.5K and DX8.5i.

Alongside the puff rating and the 500 mAh battery (mAh, or milliamp-hours, is a measure of battery capacity), Nasty lists a 1.0 ohm resistance, which is the electrical resistance of the coil that heats the liquid, and a liquid and battery indicator.

Nasty publishes this spec sheet on its DX8.5Ki product page, which uses a related model name. Because the spec sheet sits under a different model name, check our product page before you order, and check the package when your device arrives.

A puff rating is the manufacturer's estimate. The number of puffs you get can vary with how long and how often you draw. Treat 8,500 as Nasty's reference figure, not a guaranteed count.

One strength across the line: 20 mg/mL, the federal maximum

We list the Nasty Bar 8.5K in one nicotine strength, 20 mg/mL, so the strength is the same whichever flavour you pick.

The federal Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations set a maximum of 20 mg/mL for vaping products manufactured or imported for sale in Canada. They prohibit packaging and selling a vaping product whose package shows a higher concentration. The regulatory text treats "20 mg/mL or 2%" as one threshold, so a package marked 2% and one marked 20 mg/mL show the same concentration in different units. Provincial rules on vaping products also differ.

Iced listings: watermelon, strawberry and pineapple

The Nasty Bar 8.5K listings without ice divide into single fruits and blends. The single fruits are Mango and Honeydew, a type of melon. The blends are Berry & Grape, Kiwi Passionfruit Guava, and Aloe Grape. Grape appears in two of these blends, once with berry and once with aloe, so if you want grape from this line, the choice is between those two partners.
