About That's Mint Salt.

Our That's Mint Salt range is a single bottle: That's Mint Wintergreen, a 30 mL nicotine salt e-liquid offered in 12 mg/mL or 20 mg/mL, with both strengths priced at $26.99. Flavour and price are the same either way, so strength is the only choice you need to make. We file the bottle under menthol in our flavour filters, and other That's Mint products we carry are on our separate Thats Mint page.

One wintergreen bottle, two strengths, one price

The two options differ only in nicotine concentration. Canada's Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations set a maximum of 20 mg/mL. The 20 mg/mL option is at that federal maximum, and the 12 mg/mL option is below it. The simplest approach is to choose the concentration that matches the e-liquid you already use.

To compare wintergreen with other bottles, browse menthol flavours, iced flavours, or our full salt nic e-liquid range. Other That's Mint products we carry are listed on the Thats Mint brand page.

What to check on a Canadian nicotine e-liquid label

Health Canada lists what a legal nicotine e-liquid label and package must show on its vaping product safety page. These are the items to look for when your bottle arrives:

  • Labelling in both English and French
  • A list of ingredients, including flavours
  • A nicotine concentration statement in mg/mL
  • Toxicity information, including a hazard symbol and a first aid treatment statement
  • A health warning message on nicotine
  • A vaping excise stamp over the seal
  • Child-proof packaging, which Health Canada requires for every vaping product with a nicotine concentration of 0.1 mg/mL or more. On a container of nicotine liquid, that means a child-resistant closure along with a toxic hazard symbol and a "poison" warning.

The mg/mL statement is the item to compare with your order. It should match the 12 mg/mL or 20 mg/mL option you selected.

Storing and handling a nicotine salt bottle

Health Canada states that vaping liquid containing nicotine is poisonous. The same guidance notes that young children are more susceptible to harm from nicotine, and it gives these handling tips:

  • Store the bottle out of sight and reach of children and pets.
  • Keep it in a cool, dry place where it can't be confused for food, drinks or medicine.
  • Wash your hands immediately after handling vaping liquid, or wear gloves.
  • Never mix household chemical products or additives into the liquid.
  • Close the container securely after each use, because child-resistant doesn't mean child-proof.

If someone has swallowed vaping liquid, seek emergency medical attention, call 9-1-1, or call a Poison Control Centre at 1-844-POISON-X (1-844-764-7669).

Frequently Asked.

Is 20 mg/mL the highest nicotine strength allowed in Canada?
Yes, 20 mg/mL is the highest nicotine strength allowed for vaping products sold in Canada. Health Canada says this federal maximum has applied since July 2021, and it covers nicotine in both salt and non-salt forms. Our That's Mint Salt Wintergreen comes in 12 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL, so both options fall within the limit.
Where can I find That's Mint Spearmint?
The That's Mint Salt line we carry has one flavour, Wintergreen, so there is no Spearmint bottle on this page. Other That's Mint products we carry are listed on our separate Thats Mint brand page.
Can I put That's Mint Salt in a disposable vape?
Disposables aren't built for it. That's Mint Salt is a bottled refill liquid, and Health Canada describes disposables as closed devices that are thrown away once their pre-filled liquid or charge runs out. Refill liquids go into open devices, where you add the liquid by hand to a tank or pod. Health Canada also advises against modifying vaping products.
What does 'salt' mean on a That's Mint Salt bottle?
The word salt on the bottle means the e-liquid uses nicotine salts. Health Canada defines nicotine salts as nicotine dissolved in a liquid mixture that has been chemically adjusted to be weakly acidic. Like freebase nicotine liquids, these liquids contain propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerin, plus other chemicals such as flavouring ingredients.
Do I save anything by ordering more than one bottle?
Our Vape Juice volume discount lowers the price when you order more than one item. Two to three items get 10% off, four to five items get 12% off, and six or more get 15% off. The discount applies to regular-priced items only, and sale items are excluded. Our prices already include federal excise tax.
