Salt Nic
Three details on each listing decide whether a bottle suits you: the nicotine type, the strength in mg/mL and the bottle size. Our salt nic e-liquid range has 300+ bottles from 50+ brands, in strengths from 3 to 20 mg/mL, at prices from $18.99 to $41.99. Use the filters beside the grid to narrow the range by nicotine type, strength and flavour profile.

About Salt Nic.
Salt, freebase and hybrid listings in this range
The Salt Nic category at Puff'Dis includes both nicotine salt and freebase liquids, so the page name doesn't tell you what a particular bottle contains. Our nicotine type filter separates salt from freebase. Before you add a bottle to your cart, confirm its type with that filter or in the listing details.
Some lines state their nicotine type in the name. Riot Squad's line is labelled Hybrid Salt, which doesn't match either filter type by name, so check that line's listing for its nicotine type before you buy.
Nicotine salt and freebase liquids contain nicotine in different forms. Health Canada's regulatory text refers to nicotine "in salt form" and in "non-salt forms". When you're shopping, the more useful point is that the federal limit is the same for both. Health Canada states that the maximum concentration applies to nicotine regardless of its form, salt or non-salt, so every bottle on this page has the same 20 mg/mL ceiling.
Strengths from 3 to 20 mg/mL and the federal limit
This range comes in strengths of 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12 and 20 mg/mL. The unit mg/mL means milligrams of nicotine in each millilitre of liquid, so a given strength is the same whether the bottle holds 30 mL or 60 mL.
On some listings the strength is part of the product name. Some Flavour Drop listings, for example, end in "- 20mg". Where the name doesn't include it, check the listing details before you order, so the bottle you receive matches the strength you meant to buy.
Why the range stops at 20 mg/mL
The Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations set a maximum of 20 mg/mL for vaping products manufactured or imported for sale in Canada. They also prohibit packaging or selling a product if the concentration shown on its package exceeds 20 mg/mL. Health Canada checks compliance with ISO 20714, a gas chromatographic lab method for measuring nicotine, propylene glycol and glycerol in e-liquids. ISO 20714 reports results in mg/g, so the regulations explain how to convert them to mg/mL.
Legal labels must show the nicotine concentration in mg/mL, in English and in French, so you can compare the figure on the bottle with the strength you chose on the listing.
Choosing a strength
If you already vape, start with the strength you use now rather than changing several things at once. Your device matters too. Check your device manufacturer's guidance on which liquids your pod or tank is designed for, and browse Vape Pods if you need hardware that suits the liquid you choose.
30 mL or 60 mL: reading the size in the product name
Salt nic listing names at Puff'Dis include the bottle size, written as 30ml or 60ml. OXVA x Flavour Beast lines are 30 mL. Lemon Drop, Berry Drop and Flavour Drop lines appear as 60 mL, while Lemon Drop Boost is a separate 30 mL line.
Flavour Beast appears as three separate lines in the brand filter: a 30 mL salt line, a 60 mL salt line and the OXVA collaboration. Filtering by the specific line gets you the right size and series in one step instead of searching the maker's name. If you already know which size you want, go straight to the Flavour Beast 30 mL salt line or the Flavour Beast 60 mL salt line.
Choosing a size means trading quantity of one flavour against variety. A 60 mL bottle holds twice as much liquid as a 30 mL bottle, which makes sense for a flavour you've already settled on. Smaller bottles let you spread an order across more flavours, which helps while you're still comparing profiles.
Flavour profiles and brand lines across 50+ brands
Fruit is the largest flavour profile in our salt nic range. The filters also sort bottles into iced, menthol, tobacco and flavourless profiles. Choosing a profile in the filter is faster than going through 50+ brands one by one.
Product names in the range show how those profiles break down. Fruit lines include Apple Drop Double Apple, Fruitbae Watermelon Honeydew, Lemon Drop Green Apple and Lemon Drop Mango. VICE Peach Ice combines fruit with ice, while VICE Mint and ICED UP Mint Ice are mint liquids.
Many names in the range include "Ice" or "Iced". To see the liquids grouped under our Iced profile, use the Iced flavours page. The Tobacco flavours page and the Flavourless flavours page do the same for those profiles.
Handling and storing refill bottles at home
Health Canada describes vaping liquid containing nicotine as poisonous and notes that young children are more susceptible to harm from nicotine. Under the Vaping Products Labelling and Packaging Regulations, every container of liquid with a nicotine concentration of 0.1 mg/mL or more must display a hazard symbol and the statement "POISON: if swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately."
Under section 52 of those regulations, a child-resistant container must stay child-resistant throughout the useful life of the liquid inside it, under normal conditions of storage, sale and use. Even so, Health Canada notes that child-resistant does not mean child-proof. Close the cap securely after every refill.
Health Canada's vaping product safety guidance includes these handling tips:
- Store bottles out of sight and reach of children and pets.
- Keep them in a cool, dry place where they can't be confused for food, drinks or medicine.
- Wash your hands immediately after handling vaping liquid, or wear gloves.
- Never mix household chemical products or additives into vaping liquid.
Health Canada also advises against adding substances to vaping liquids that the manufacturer did not intend, and against using vaping products of unknown content or origin. Legal packaging has a vaping excise stamp over the seal, which is one way to recognize a product from the legal market.
Common questions.
How does the Vape Juice discount work when I order several salt nic bottles?
The Vape Juice discount takes a percentage off regular-priced items when you order several: 10% for 2 to 3 items, 12% for 4 to 5 items and 15% for 6 or more. Sale items are excluded from every tier. The tiers are based on the number of items, not bottle size.
Do your prices include excise tax, and when is shipping free?
Puff'Dis prices include federal excise tax, so the listed price already covers it. Free shipping starts at $50 for Quebec orders and Next-Day Flashbird delivery, and at $100 in our Rest of Canada zone. We sell only to adults 19+ and ship only within Canada.
Do you carry salt nic e-liquid with no added flavour?
Yes. We carry flavourless salt nic e-liquid, such as Vital Flavourless in a 60 mL bottle. Choose the Flavourless profile in our filters or open our Flavourless flavours page to see those bottles together. As with any other bottle, check the strength and nicotine type on the listing.
Can a lab tell whether a liquid uses salt or freebase nicotine?
In its regulatory statement for the Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations, Health Canada said it was not aware of reliable laboratory methods to directly identify the form of nicotine in a vaping liquid. The ISO 20714 method it uses measures nicotine concentration, and the 20 mg/mL limit applies to salt and non-salt forms alike. To check a specific bottle, use our nicotine type filter and the listing details.
What should I do if someone swallows vaping liquid?
Health Canada advises that if someone has swallowed vaping liquid, you should seek emergency medical attention or call 9-1-1 or a Poison Control Centre at 1-844-POISON-X (1-844-764-7669). Every container with 0.1 mg/mL of nicotine or more must also carry a first aid statement on its label.
